It has been an amazing week of growth in just about every aspect. We are getting to know eachother better.... more friendships and fun. We have been blessed with tremendously beautiful weather... it's my favorite of the year. Blue skies, the changing colors of autumn.... its beautiful here! We took full advantage of the weather this week.... taking our free afternoons to picnic blankets and guitar in the middle of the oval.

Classes were a challange this week... a challenge to move forward... to grow... and to step out in faith... letting go of all that has been holding me back. To sum it up...This week Lynn Green was our speaker. He is one of the 3 head chairman of YWAM, and started YWAM england like 38 years ago? We are very blessed because he lives on our base, and always comes and pours his knowledge onto our base's DTS. What a time. He spoke about Human History and the Cross.... kind of gave us a brief weeklong history lesson on the Crusades, and how they impacted and formed the way many other religions view christianity the way that they do today. It reallllly made me think, I had always wondered why Christians get the bad rap so often, and now it makes complete sense. He spoke of a Reconciliation Walk that the Lord spoke to him to do about 10 years ago. A team of YWAMers walked the walk from the start of the Crusades all the way down through Europe and into Turkey and then down to Jerusalem. As they walked, they prayed and fasted, and shared with the community a letter of forgiveness from them as Christians for the Crusades and all that happened all those centeries ago. The impact was astonishing and humbling. I wish I had been on that walk!!!

Thursday night we had freedom class again, and learned about our orignal design and were prayed for. That was awesome! I had heard of praying for your original design before but had never done it, and considering that the people that prayed for me had no idea who I was, the things they told me were spot on! I am amazed... and I think only feel more secure in who the Lord has created me to be. It was just an extra reassurance. The Lord has a plan for you! He created you specifically the way you are!! If you want to know.... just ask Him!! :D

The rest of the week was spent in work duties, one on one times, quiet time, small groups, and church meetings. Soul Survivor was awesome once again this sunday. Love it!

Here are some pics to sum up week two. Love and miss you all!

XOXO
